Alberto Sala

He was born in Monza , he finished his studies at “ Papal School Ambrosiana of Classical Music in Milan”, with his teacher E. Vianelli (piano and organ), L. Molfino (composition) , G. Bredolo (the choir direction), A. Turco (Gregorian singing) and he got the “Magistero” in Gregorian singing. He also went to the 4th seminar of study “ The Organ Creativity of teacher M.E. Bossi” in 1996 with his teacher A. Sacchetti , a course of executive baroque practise in 2002 with teacher G. Acciai and from 2004 to 2005 he did Organ Improvisation with teacher F. Caporali. He has been an organist in S. Eusebio church in Agrate Brianza , where in 1995 he was the director of “Schola Cantorum” and he founded also “The Choir ofWhite Voices” and with this choir he took part in the international chorale exhibition “Coming to Vienna” in1996 with success . He has done lots of concerts as soloist organist and with other musical instruments . he has Worked with lots of different choir and he has done tourneys in Italy and abroad . He has played in International Festivals and Symposiums (European Voices , Music for Jubilee ,Festival Mozart , Women in Music…) . Since 1999 he is the titular organist of Novara’s Dome and he is director of the choir of Instrumental Chapel . He collaborates with “Piccoli Cantori of St. Mary” of the cathedral and also with “The Instrumental Chapel” of Novara’s Dome – which besides playing lots of concerts (with the recent taking part in “World Forum On Music” in Los Angeles) , did also a lot of recordings, particularly on ancient music, but also on his own productions (“Missa Sancti Francisci” on will of Franciscan’s priests of Mont Mesma –No). He teach theory and solfeggio and how to play the organ in the Musical School “ Cathedral Friends” in Novara. He wrote some compositions for liturgical use and other for soloist, choir, organ and orchestra which have been played in Rome, Loreto, Bolzano and Novara, created during important meetings and shows . He has conduced Boffalora’s Band since December 2006 .

Erika Scardovelli

She took degree in oboe in 1996 at the academy of music “A. Vivaldi” in Novara, with her teacher Daniele Scanziani. After that she attended a lot of musical courses and in 1997 she specialize at the Academy Of Art in Voghera with her teacher Bruno Oddenino. She collaborates with the Chamber Orchestra of musical institute “G. Rusconi” in Rho, with the Orchestra of Novara’s Academy “A. Vivaldi” for the first Italian representation of “Filemone and Baucci”‘s opera by Gounod, in occasion of the open season ofCoccia Theatre in Novara , with “Esterhazy”‘s Orchestra of C.I.M.A. (Italian Centre of Ancient Music), with Symphonic Orchestra “Petit Ensemble Instrumental” and with Tyrolese Fisorchestra (Swiss). She took part also in the realisation of music in “Clowns”, a “QDG” company representation, which was presented at Greek Theatre of Milan. She plays in lots of Orchestra and Chamber; since 1994 she has played as soloist with the “Modern Accordeon Orchestra”. Besides her artistic career, she teaches in different schools in the province of Milan. She has conduced Boffalora’s Band since 2004 and she teaches also to children who want to play in Boffalora’s Band .
