He was born in Corbetta, he has taken a degree in French Horn at the academy G. Verdi in Milan. He has attended and played in different and prestigious Orchestra in Lombardy, but soon he would stop because of his great passion for spreading and teaching music. In fact, hestarted dedicating to many bands following the way of his inspirer and artistic-father: teacher Sir Aurelio Fanciosti, that grew him up and introduced him into the direction. Teaching but also with his own inclination, he could develop a new way to teach music in different bands, introducing a stimulating and particular professional relation between the teacher and the musicians. This could improve the evolution of the “bands” that he conduced, without forgetting the traditions and the origins of Band’s music, to experiment with new musical horizons that weren’t known before and to obtain some local and national appreciations. He conduced Boffalora’s Band from 1984 to 2002 .

He was an indefatigable worker, an inpatient teacher, a painstaking, an honest and very able doing. He stayed with us for 16 years and because of his brilliant and charismatic direction of Boffalora’s band discovered a new youth. We can remember him relentless with his blue suite while he was going on a stage, he bowed smiling and then he turned and, from that moment, for him and for all the musicians there would be only the music. His baton could divide the space with geometric precision, advising the light rhythms without any possibility of mistakes, the right colour and the growing movement. At the end of the exhibition he congratulated the musicians on their performance with his smile which expressed joy and satisfaction. He lived for music.
